Coolin' 'A Soul Jazz Journey'

Coolin' A Soul Jazz Journey
Various Artists (pHo Records 1996)
'Rare Groove' jazzy sounds on this pretty good compilation. Very listenable, with it's combination of hammond, vibes & easy lounge atmosphere.

See comments ( as usual) for tracklist & artists, hopefully this will give you more of an idea what's happening on this one. All of these tracks, except for #7 are from the Muse label. Track 7 was originally released on Landmark (1974).

BTW, I believe this disc is now out of print

A nice weekend present -- a speedy download too [The African Funk is dripping down with less than 4 hours to complete, if it doesn't stall out.]
No hot and steamy weather here though -- Sunday tomorrow, just above freezing with clouds and snow. Yuck. Dream of my former residence in Adelaids SAustralia.

Aaah huh...I am learning since I'm trying new hosts given the new situation at r/s.

Am using this host (upping now) to redo the Shostacovich, after another host killed the file within 24hrs.

Sorry 'bout the 'AfricaFunk' but at least I know not to use that host again.

All seems well with this one, so until I here otherwise I might just continue with them; we'll see how things develop.

I'm not sure where you are now, but Adelaide has been in the grips of a heat wave. Given your description of the weather somewhere in Europe I assume

Enjoy your Sunday...best out to you!

Ciao.
