Vaughn...now the bad news. I spent a large portion of Monday trying to 'procure' the dbl live Go-Betweens discs for us. I was to my disappointment unsuccessful.
What I did find out was that this live set was officially only available for sale at the door of their gigs in London (maybe some places in Europe too)?
I had seen it once before a few months back (as I had previously mentioned) & hadn't realised that the discs for sale were very limited & essentially were tour only paraphernalia.
If I do come across the discs again, I will purchase 2 copies without hesitation. I still have a record store in Melbourne I couldn't get through to on Monday, but for the time being I have tried virtually all the 'best' stores in Australia (that I'm aware of at least). Aaah & whilst typing I've now thought of another in Melbourne I could call.
I feel it's the sort of thing that will turn up sometime, maybe when the 'buzz' subsides a little.

Ya, I hear ya guys...I'm not sure what to say? I stopped using 'store & serve' as well as 'badongo' b/c of these probs.
The files still works fine for me (just checked), but what seems to happen at these hosts is when they get busy the file stops before full completion & so you end up with a corrupted file.
I'll try & repair these sometime in the future. It's a shame that it's happened & I'd like all d'loads to work properly, but at the time I had no idea these servers would have these issues.

Aaah cool matthias...thank you for this update; yes thought that's what had happened.
As for this host...I do not use them anymore (as mentioned previously) primarily for this reason.

the link for Disc 1 is dead though.
